It's January - that means we're working on ISAT skills in the lab.

Math and language skills are the primary focus.

Week 1 - Addition and subtraction slide.

Using a wonderful BBC website, Revisewise, plus other valuable sites, I've set up a 4 page worksheet to help students keep track of what they've completed.  All grade levels in the building will start with these, then the 5th and 6th graders will get some harder problems, while 3rd and 4th will work on other skills.

Week 2 - STAR Reading Test

Week 3 - Data Collection and Probability

Week 4 - Mean Median and Mode

grades 4, 5 and 6 warmed up with identifying shapes and shape names, then worked on Mean, Median and Mode again at Revisewise.  3rd grade worked on Concentration with identifying shape names, then worked on perimeters on Shape Surveyor at Funbrain.
